Here were are able to see the vast insufficiency of the language of "double procession" in relation to the procession of the Spirit. It is correct to say that procession is "double" if you mean by that that the hypostases are two, yet, this language is as deficient as calling creation "triple" due to the three hypostases that participate in the single act of creation. For, the act of procession is a single act and comes from the two hypostases as a single principle.
