Summary
In the Sed Contra, St. Thomas derives the conclusion from a premise about the nature of the agent of justification, i.e., the Holy Spirit. It runs thus, "The Holy Spirit acts instantaneously, the Holy Spirits works justification, therefore..."
Does "an instant" imply that there is only one instant? Or is there still room for there being multiple instances in which we are justified?
