It is at this point that we reach the end of our investigation of the intrinsic simplicity of God. Here, he "summarizes" that which has come before and provides further arguments to bolster the claim in general.


In the respondeo, he gives five arguments for the simplicity of God.


First, inductively, from the first six articles of this question.


Second, from the ontological primacy of simplicity (unity comes before diversity).


Third, from the caused-ness of composite things.
