Jay Dyer is a Muslim!

I have recently heard something that was quite shocking to me, Eastern Orthodox Apologists defending Islam! Not only on issues that we share in common, but on fundamentals of the faith, such as the Trinity, Incarnation, and prophethood of Muhammad. I could not believe it.

Worse than this...I actually have evidence that many of these apologists have professed the creed of the Muslims, the Shahada! How terrible!

As a Catholic, when a Muslim says "God is not Triune," I say that they are absolutely wrong. The Catholic Church teaches that God is a Trinity, so when anyone denies this, they are in error.

Yet, I have heard of some Eastern Orthodox and even "Protestant" apologists denying natural theology. They say that Muslims don't know God from nature and therefore refer to something completely different when they use the term "God," a false god which some identify with the Devil.

So, there can be no scruple when a Muslim says "God is not Triune" or "God does not have a Son." Don't worry! According to these apologists, the Muslims are actually referring to something completely different. Since this "God" is just a figment of their imaginations (or the devil himself), it follows that Muslims are right when they say "God is not Triune."

Good thing we have Vatican II! If we didn't have Vatican II to tell us that Muslims are wrong when they deny the Trinity, we might turn out like these apologists!

If that wasn't enough, they say the same thing about the incarnation. How awful! When Muslims say "God did not become incarnate," the Orthodox apologists sit and nod their heads in agreement, applauding the truth of that statement.

Thanks be to God that Vatican II has told me otherwise! I know that Muslims are actually wrong when they say that God has not become incarnate. Unlike these Apologists, I believe that the Muslims are denying something of God, the true God.

Yet, it gets far, far darker. Jay Dyer can say the Shahada. Yes, you heard me right. He can say the Shahada. That basically is the Nicene Creed of Islam. This must make Jay a Muslim.

The Shahada is "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."

As a Catholic, I do not think that Muhammad was a messenger of God. The last Apostle of God died near the end of the first century, St. John the Apostle. Vatican II told me this. Yet, for these Orthodox, the messengers of God existed long after St. John.

Many say that the Muslims refer to the Devil when they use the word "god." Now, these same individuals believe that Muhammad was sent and inspired by the Devil (a fair postulate). Thus, they should confidently shout from the rooftops that "I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."

These Orthodox really have a "get out of martyrdom" free card on their hands of inestimable power. If they are ever captured by ISIS, they have an easy way out. Just say "La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah." If you go here, you can listen to a popular Lullaby version meant for babies that will help you in your memorization. I really hope the Orthodox will rethink their defense of the Islamic denial of the Trinity and Incarnation and their profession of Islam, returning to the true religion of Vatican II.
